Aguas Calientes

¡Ola Chicos!

First of all, a big thanks for all the emails, it´s great to get post when you are out and about. A special mention for the GM for his posting on the blog too, the only brave soul...

Well, almost half way through our crash course in Spanish, Kaz is now conjugating like crazy and we´ve both got vocab coming out of our ears. Suffice to say the streets of Medoza are full of locals with bemused looks, reeling from our dodgy pronunciations and gramatical gaffes. Ach as long as its not rude we´re ok.

So far this week we´ve been taking it easy, 4 hours of spanish lessons a day are enough for anybody. But managed a little trip out to a water park in the hills, see photos above. Not a bad place to do tarrea (homework), though the quality suffers when you drink too much beer in the sun then throw in the distracting childish charms of the river which ran around the edge of the park.

We´re settling in well now we´ve found a few decent places to eat, the local cuisine isn´t too hot on veggies but we´re working on it.

Otherwise its been a whirlwind of café con leche, conjugaction and siestás. Muy excellente!

¡Hastá leugo chichos y todos!
